OVERVIEW
The short story “A Night with a Babysitter” centers on an opulent eighteen-year-old boy who has been bedridden with a fever for several days. His over-protective mother is worried that the fever might return, so they decide to hire a babysitter so they can attend a company dinner. The babysitter is our protagonist’s age, which surprises him. Our protagonist will never forget what transpires that evening.
