ABOUT THE GAME

Schokrii is the author and developer of the interactive, non-linear tale The Diary.

Assuming we disregard the family’s recent move, the player assumes the character of Chris, a typical high school senior with an equally typical life.

During the last year, when everything was meant to feel settled, the family had to move shortly before the school year started for work-related reasons. A new location, a new school, new acquaintances, and the unnerving sense of having to start over.

Everything changes, though, when Chris finds an odd book that quickly turns out to be the diary of a former female classmate.

Chris enters the book with an unquenchable curiosity, not realizing that the words will alter his physical and mental state.

What starts out as a simple discovery quickly develops into an apparently irreversible consequence…

The decisions made by the player determine how the tale unfolds in The Diary.

Aside from academic experiences, significant moments outside of the classroom also arise as you navigate the obstacles of your final year.

You are drawn farther into a world that changes with each decision you make through interactions with friends, developing romantic relationships, and unforeseen circumstances.
