ABOUT THE GAME
Incubus: Genesis is the first chapter in a planned fantasy trilogy. You play as a young apprentice learning to harness mysterious powers through the guidance of the characters you meet.
Use what you learn to grow stronger and form deeper connections with your companions.
In the full version, helpful fairies will appear throughout the stages to offer tips and guidance, helping players avoid unnecessary challenges.
Until then, visit the first development log for advice and notes to ensure a smooth experience.
Latest Update: v0.20 – Coherency Update
I don’t really feel the need to make a devlog for this one. The goal is for everything to speak for itself — players shouldn’t have to read an update log to understand the experience.
Version 2 is technically a major update, but I’d like to add a few more scenes before making any announcements. If you’re still playing the previous version, you’ve probably already noticed the changes by now
GAME FEATURES
Boxes now display their effects in real time.
The first few encounters are currently on rails — this is necessary to ensure players can access most of the main content, especially using Vampire Gaze on Jackie to obtain Sensationalize. I plan to refine this progression system later to make it feel smoother and less restrictive.
Map navigation has been improved to be more intuitive and less confusing.
