ABOUT THE GAME
Melody oversees Myers Boutique, the world’s most successful fashion brand, when she’s not lavishing Sharon with adoration. Play Melody in a friendly competition with her sister Harmony as she creates, manufactures, and promotes the brand’s new summer line.
Melody’s Boutique is a card game that involves constructing decks. Develop new cards through research and development, then manufacture and market them to sell them. Win if you’re the first to reach $100!
This version of the game, which was made in roughly nine days for NSFW MiniJam #23, has a dress-up mode that showcases each of the six clothes and a functional card game, but it most likely has serious balancing problems. In the upcoming month, I want to create a story mode for the game.
HOW TO PLAY
You draw five cards from your deck every turn. If there are any manufacturing and marketing expenses, you can play cards for them (shown at the upper right corner of the card).
Each card’s effect is shown at the bottom. You can also make sales with clothing cards, as shown at the bottom right.
Any R&D you receive can be used to purchase cards from the center row, which is replenished from the main deck. Additionally, additional copies of the basic resource cards are available for purchase.
When your deck runs out, cards that were obtained in this manner will be moved to your discard and then shuffled back into your deck.
You discard any cards that are played to the field and everything that is still in your hand at the conclusion of your turn. Instead, basic resource cards are thrown in the main deck’s trash.
One player gets one more turn after earning $100, at which point the game is over and the winner is the player with the most sales.
In the desktop build, you can toggle fullscreen by pressing F11.
