ABOUT THE GAME

There are two game modes available: single-player (Player 1 vs. Computer) and two-player.

This is a local match with only one PC.

Controls can be performed using a gamepad or keyboard (see ①-③ below for details).

① Use only one gamepad (either one player uses a gamepad versus the computer or both players use a gamepad and keyboard).

② Use two gamepads for a two-player combat (unconfirmed).

③ No gamepads (one player uses a keyboard to play against the computer) (unconfirmed).

There are also combination moves (such as crouching and punching left for an uppercut), so please refer to the Controls section of the in-game Settings menu for more details.

There are nine playable characters to pick from: Akiko’s Father, Knight, Shuri’s Father, Eric, Jane, Shau, Sam, Akiko and Shuri.

Every character has two special moves (Combo 1 and 2). The first player to remove the opponent’s overall power twice wins.

Lobby (You and Your Opponent Selection Screen)

Immediately after the game begins, the characters of Player 1 and Player 2 will stand on opposite sides. Images of the selectable characters will appear in the background.

To select one of the characters, click the A button on a gamepad or the Enter key on a keyboard. To cancel or go back, use the B button on a gamepad or the Backspace key on a keyboard.

Press the X button on a gamepad or keyboard to choose between Player 1 vs. Player 2 (human vs. human) and Player 1 vs. Computer.

GAME SETTINGS

Pressing the Start button on a gamepad (or the TAB key on a keyboard) will bring up the settings screen below.

Resume: Return to the game.
Return to the lobby (the character selection screen).
Video Settings: Graphical settings
Audio parameters: Sound-related parameters.
Controls: Gamepad and keyboard control information
Quit: Exit the game.

For each match, the background music is chosen at random from a selection of tracks.
There are three stages (backgrounds) to select from: Japanese garden, battle arena, and cathedral.
Depending on your display settings, characters may occasionally appear too large and off-screen.

Please keep in mind that adjusting the resolution (Video Settings > Screen Resolution) may make the characters fit better on the screen.
