Crane’s Romantic Nightmare
ABOUT THE GAME
After an unsettling dream, Crane wakes up in bed beside a woman who insists she is both his childhood friend and his lover—though his memories of her are hazy at best. When he notices a strange presence watching from outside the house, he steps into the surrounding woods, determined to uncover the truth about where he is and how he ended up there.
This project is an early demo of my original H-game concept: a turn-based RPG with a strong emphasis on atmosphere, exploration, and mystery. The world is filled with girls and monsters inspired by folklore, legends, and cryptids.
Gameplay blends classic turn-based RPG mechanics with survival horror elements. You’ll need to carefully manage your health and limited resources as you face unsettling enemies, explore eerie locations, and encounter new characters along the way.
For transparency, the game is being developed in RPGMaker, but I’ve worked hard to give the combat a distinct feel. While some placeholder and default assets are still present in this demo, the full release will feature entirely original artwork created by me, including characters, enemies, and environments—similar to what’s shown in the screenshots.
