ABOUT THE GAME
A horde of ruthless demons besieged a town. citizens who engage in deadly combat over a piece of bread. A family that becomes your deadliest adversary. Will poor Alice be able to make it through the following ten days in this living nightmare, or will she meet a terrible end?
In the time and resource management game Alice and the Burning City (AatBC), survival is a daily battle. As you scavenge the city of Fuoka for materials, make sure Alice has enough food and drink to keep healthy. Take good care of your finances and maintain good health to avoid being exploited by evil people!
Finding scraps, working in a nearby factory, stealing, begging, dancing, joining a gang of criminals, or selling your body to the highest bidder are all secondary ways to survive. The strong are ultimately the only ones who survive the end of the world. And occasionally, not even them…
You will roll a ton of dice to finish your skill tests, regardless of what you choose to accomplish! Roll up to seven dice at simultaneously to completely cheat lady luck, or raise your six stats to increase your rolled values! You best prepare to deal with the repercussions if you fail your throws.
After a run, you’ll arrive at the Afterlife, where you can spend important resources to modify entire areas or obtain additional advantages for subsequent runs. When you’re ready, go back to the dawn of Day 1 and search for the next ending using your upgrades and knowledge until you’ve discovered the real one.
The plot of Sana’s Seven Days and Rise of Menrak is followed in this game; if you’ve played any of those games before, you may even recognize some characters.

NOTES FOR DEVELOPERS
I was kind of done with JRPGs after Rise of Menrak and Cinder Battle: Rekindled, so I decided to use all the information I’ve gathered over the years to take the aspects of Sana’s Seven Days to the next level. It turns out that wasn’t my finest idea because the longer I worked on the game, the more intimidating it became.
Don’t get me wrong, I think the game did a great job for a one-man show, and I’m proud of how far it has come. The sheer volume of code, switches, scenes, and events was too much to handle, even while it contains a ton of varied components that come together to make a game that will really challenge you.
ERRORS AND ABSENT FEATURES
I apologize, but for a game this complicated, there will likely be a lot of errors and glitches in the initial release. Really, the amount of code I wrote for this game is far more than any of my prior games.
This does not imply that everything is flawed or defective; I have thoroughly tested the game to ensure that, at the very least, all scenes and endings may be unlocked. After all, my standards for quality are still very high.
Since I’m a human and not an AI, I had to deal with a number of significant personal challenges (limited free time, stress at work, mental health issues, etc.) as well as technical issues (new PC, software bugs, corrupt backups) during the development process. As a result, I decided to release the game as-is rather than delay it indefinitely.
Ultimately, a functional game with a few flaws is preferable to a “perfect” game that is never released.
Because of everything going on in my life, I won’t make any guarantees, but I might update the game in the future. Although creating games is a lot of fun, it requires a lot of resources from you, which I just don’t have at the moment.
