Blacksmith of Love
ABOUT THE GAME
You take on the role of a young man who, following his grandfather’s enigmatic disappearance, returns to the house where he grew up. The objective? Put yourself in his shoes, light the forge, and rise to the position of top blacksmith in the community.
However, it goes beyond simply pounding hot metal with a hammer. You will be navigating a community full of “interesting” folks, each of them has a specialization that will aid you in your craft and quest to become the world’s greatest blacksmith.
WHAT’S BEHIND THE SCENES?
- The Card Battle System: Inspired by Slay the Spire, you will battle monsters with personalized decks. You will need to hire a bodyguard until this is unlocked towards the conclusion of this version.
- The Mining & Crafting Loop: Bring the ores back to manufacture equipment after smacking some respawning iron nodes in the caves.
- Comic-Style Dialogue: I’m utilizing Koikatsu to create lifelike renderings of the characters, along with a comic book style and character effects that enhance each dialogue.
- Simple Quest System: Although the Quest system is straightforward, it will help you track your goals and locate your destination fast in the majority of quests. If you need to go anyplace, the small arrow that surrounds you will direct you there.
There are currently just three characters in Blacksmith of Love, and you will get to meet them in this version. We intend to add additional characters in later editions.
Along with new objectives for the current characters, every new edition will include new characters.
