Put yourself in Gary’s shoes as an inexperienced but tenacious private investigator in a world that seems to be getting worse the more you look into it.
A seemingly straightforward case soon draws you into a complex web of missing people, dishonest officials, and a cult known simply as the Arborists of Truth. Ritual sacrifices, living woods, and ancient powers lying beneath the surface are just a few of the things that reality starts to reveal as you explore deeper.
Equipped with dubious intuitions, poor choices, and an extremely suspicious magnifying glass, Gary has to unearth a conspiracy in which the system itself might be contributing to the issue—or something much worse.
