Otterman’s Empire

Paul Otterman sees himself as a rebellious country lawyer, a successful small-town solicitor who takes pride in standing up to the government’s increasingly absurd policies. By day, he profits from the booming property market. Behind closed doors, he helps wealthy widows navigate harsh new inheritance laws and preserve the lifestyles they have grown accustomed to.

His clients are often recently bereaved former trophy wives, and Paul has built a lucrative practice helping them protect their fortunes. He tells himself that these quiet acts of defiance are a way of giving the establishment the finger. There is some truth to that, but his motives are more complicated than simple political rebellion. Paul genuinely loves his young wife, yet he is also drawn to older women and is quite willing to accept payment in more intimate forms alongside his legal fees.

Otterman’s Empire is set in an alternate version of 1980s England: a country consumed by political farce, moral hysteria, and the arrogance of unearned authority. Following an imperialist coup and eight years of reactionary government, Britain has become isolated, having lost much of its former influence, prosperity, and international friendships.

The project is intended to balance narrative and erotic content in equal measure, while also serving as a learning experience for us as creators. The sexual material will deliberately embrace a nostalgic, retro aesthetic—stockings and suspenders, natural bodies, bushy pubic hair, and unaltered breasts.

On the narrative side, we have plans for a much broader story arc, but for now the goal is to experiment, discover what works, and learn from what doesn’t.
