Logical Inconsistencies

OVERVIEW

For a considerable amount of time, Washington State has been under a state-wide quarantine. This has resulted in the disregard for crimes such as sexual assault, violence, and murder, with almost no consequences for anyone other than those who enter the country. You have become nihilistic and desensitized, devoid of all hope in life, and as such, you have become indifferent to these everyday problems and events.

One bad day, a woman named Samarah enters your life. She is a person with more freedom and authority than the other civilians. Part of the reason the government gave her these perks was that she was smarter than other people. She comes to you specifically wanting to add you to her polyamorous relationship, in which she makes an effort to keep a varied group of individuals representing various genders and sexual orientations. You must come to terms with the fact that you are nothing more than an impartial, weak, and helpless person if you value your life.

How do individuals in this life deal with their inclination toward self-destruction? What is behind the state’s current mode of operation? Is it possible to be happy in a world where everyone else is miserable? One thing is certain despite the uncertainty surrounding all of these issues: there is a logical contradiction between dreams and the interpretation of imagination.

EXPECTATIONS

I want to be as transparent as possible to ensure no one wastes their time and money. I put a lot of effort into making this possible and do not want people’s first reaction to be that they were misled. Most of the things you’ll see in this game are character-driven moments, heavy philosophical musings, and paragraphs upon paragraphs of introspection, violent indulgence, and an edgy, dark sense of humor that does not consider ethical boundaries. If you do not like these elements or types of stories, you should not feel obligated to play them. To everyone else, I hope you find value in something I poured my heart into.

Due to the ambition and scope of this game, this is also season one of the game, meaning that this is a self-contained story within itself. I have planned the entire overarching story, which will total four seasons, with approximately a year between each release. Given that I am a college student with responsibilities and limited free time, I cannot treat this project like a full-time job unless the reception of the game is good alongside the support. However, I am motivated to see this through to the end to the best of my ability. To all the people who play and share the game, I am forever grateful to you all. Note: There will likely be no updates to this game unless game-breaking errors occur.
