You are a pre-medical graduate who grew up in Pacifica Bay, California, known as the “City of Shooting Stars.” Your comparatively quiet and unremarkable existence is put in danger when you are rejected from medical school on your first try, surrounded by all of the city’s superstars. You are compelled to work at a boring and unfulfilling job until you can repeat your MCAT examinations in an attempt to get into medical school again since you don’t have much money.
