OVERVIEW

The Assignment is a slow-burning, identity-shifting visual novel in which you take on the role of an apparently typical college student in Halden City. Your identity is unraveled by an odd psychology homework project that pulls you into a downward spiral of self-discovery, transformation, and servitude. Your adventure will be molded by the people you trust and the person you become because there are many different pathways, a wide range of personalities, and dynamic systems.

There is currently roughly two weeks’ worth of content in the game. While the second week leads to the assignment, the game’s central plot point, the first week is devoted to getting to know the characters and the mechanics of the game.
