ABOUT THE GAME

The Plot:

Good news: your wealthy great-uncle has passed away and left his enormous fortune to Charlie.
Bad news: you’re not Charlie. Charlie is his cat.

What you do inherit is the chance to work as Charlie’s full-time caretaker in return for a very comfortable allowance. Considering how tough the economy is, you agree without hesitation. You and your fiancée, Joanne, move into the old man’s mansion, expecting a future of financial security (and plenty of privacy to enjoy your new life together).

But the offer isn’t as perfect as it seemed. Your great-uncle was an eccentric man with an even stranger history, and now you’re stuck dealing with the bizarre legacy he left behind.

The Pitch

A House of Our Own is a lighthearted sandbox experience centered on cozy character moments, slice-of-life humor, and adult themes. The demo features around 350 images, 14 animations, and introduces an open-exploration system for navigating the mansion.

It takes about 20 minutes to complete and concludes after your first night in the house.

CHARACTERS

Dave, the MC (self-insertable, renamable)

An amiable idiot. Almost as much as he loves his fiancée, he enjoys cracking terrible jokes. Happiness, hunger, and lust are his three moods. usually assumes a dominant sexual role, but is just as content to be the object of a determined woman’s desire.

Your fiancée, Joanne (best girl)

Your sweetheart from high school. She works as a serialized smut writer and is constantly searching for “inspiration” for her next scene. Her self-assured, frequently arrogant demeanor conceals her sexually subservient side. You’ll have to put in some effort because she can be competitive. You get the impression that she’s a little more interested in observing than she lets on, but she’s fine to share you with other ladies (and has in the past) as long as she’s included.

Charlie, the feline (not a feline)

Considering that he is an orange cat, it doesn’t say much that he is smarter than he appears. He enjoys causing trouble, particularly when he’s frightening Trish, but he gets away with it because he’s so adorable. You are welcome to pet him.
