The Jam version focuses on pure gameplay; non-fetish images and FX will be refined later. There will be a learning curve because I’m launching the full version of the game as soon as it loads (as usual).

HINTS

The number displayed in the top-left corner of a unit’s sprite indicates how soon it will take its next turn. A unit can only act when the counter reaches 00.
Picking up food doesn’t consume a turn, so always grab any nearby food before moving or attacking.
The Carpenter is meant to be a reliable starter unit, but adding some combat-focused units can help disrupt your opponent—this is a competitive match, after all. If you’re unsure how to begin, try a lineup like 3 Carpenters, 1 Honeypot, and 1 Bullet, then tweak as you learn.
Units will die often, and that’s expected. Since each one is only worth about a single egg/food, prioritize making them useful during their short lifespan.
You won’t be able to prevent your opponent from eating entirely, so focus on gathering faster than they do rather than trying to starve them out.

The CPU opponent isn’t fully optimized yet—intentionally so, since I do want players to have a fair chance at winning. I’ll keep tuning it after the jam, but it already behaves smartly enough that I might just leave it as is.

Reaching the win condition doesn’t currently stop the game. Hitting 99 eggs takes quite a while, and forcing a full restart would feel rough, so the game simply shifts into a free-play mode afterward while I determine what kind of reward to implement.

Creating a fully polished adult-themed reward is beyond what I can finish within the jam’s remaining time, but the most likely prize will be unlocking a sandbox mode. This mode would stay permanently available from the start menu in the downloadable build. I’ll develop this later once the jam ends.
