The year is 1018.

The once-proud kingdom of Aincrad was devastated by an enigmatic epidemic.

This disease disproportionately affected men, and the patriarchal society that has been dominated by men from the beginning of time collapsed.

A militant women’s group known as “the Frauwinstaz” seized the opportunity to start a rebellion. They overthrew the monarchy, destroyed the previous system, and installed a brutal matriarchy.

Once the dominant force, men were now marginalized, deprived of their authority, and regarded as inferiors and weaklings.

The season is spring in 1020.

The self-centered, conceited foreign mercenary “Axel” and his slave “Freya” arrive at the borders of the kingdom.

Accept the cruelty. Axel has no problem getting his hands filthy. Create havoc in your wake by becoming an expert in the art of strategic fighting. Always swing first, and ask questions later.
