Life’s challenges affect everyone, but not in the same way. Who we are now determines our feelings, our experiences, and how we handle life. Because we are captives to those wonderful memories and only truly concerned about reliving a priceless experience, we can become overwhelmed by our emotions at times and let the past to dictate our future.

These voices from the past keep us shackled and bury us farther under the burden of the past. They make us miss the person who is no longer with us and hope that we may cross paths again, even if it is as strangers.

Because love—I mean, true love—has the power to dismantle any obstacle, penetrate our protective shells, overcome distance, and even disprove our notions that the cosmos is working against us.us shackled and bury us farther under the burden of the past. The suffering, longing, and heartaches serve as a reminder that we are still human and alive. And when the word “love” doesn’t seem to be enough to describe how strongly we feel for someone else… For us, even the most fleeting and insignificant occurrences can have immense significance.

A lifetime is defined by the people we spend it with, not by the moments themselves. Why, then, are we unable to let them go? Making new friends gives you the opportunity to make new memories and move on from the past. Because ultimately, all that is left are the imprints we make on other people and the ways we influence their lives.
