A late-night variety show of B quality, now presented as a visual novel.
Follow the clumsy on-location cameraman “Blue Hawaii Aniki” and his group of endearing misfits through four hectic parts full of incisive social satire and quirky entertainment.
Among the segments are:
- Social Re-Skilling Academy: An enigmatic school where grownups go back to study what life never taught them, replete with a bodyguard teacher who throws hammers and an unexpectedly touching kiss in the hallway.
- Bus Stroll: Six slackers compete in childhood games with their attractive neighbor, organize a comedy quiz in a suburban living room, and somehow wind up skinny-dipping in her garden bathtub.
- The Family Futon is a day excursion filled with grass tunnels, raccoon sanctuaries, and a really unpleasant wedding flashback for a scruffy college guy and his innocent rural sweetheart.
- Aniki the Spirit Medium is a burned-out office worker who flees to a mountain house where she channels the lives of those who are considerably luckier than her, such as a girl who managed to make friends with everyone in the town before completing middle school.
A mild role-playing game, a phony women’s magazine, a fried food CM, and one man who keeps falling out of the sky are all interwoven.
A comedy that subtly longs for something better while making fun of Japanese society.

Hello! I’m Shoichi Kirishima, a Japanese independent developer that creates visual novels with a storyline.
Stretch, a slice-of-life kinetic novel set in a public middle school with over 870 unique illustrations and a 14-character AI-vocal theme tune, is my current project.
One story told in its entirety, with no options or paths. Currently, a complete English localization is being worked on for global distribution.
