You’re the new night guard, and once the sun goes down, the cellblock answers to you. Each shift, you patrol the tiers, check the cells, and decide who gets a favor and who gets shipped out. At intake, you sift through paperwork like it’s a code to crack, studying every new inmate’s file and spotting the lies she tries to sell you. Every lie you expose becomes leverage she owes.
Control isn’t the only thing that matters here. The women want something—an extra call, more food, protection, a quiet favor slipped through the cracks. Say yes, and she repays you in her own fashion. Say no, and she won’t forget it. You can earn her loyalty inch by inch or crush her defiance in a single move. Either way, you rise from lowly night guard to warden, building a discreet empire behind locked doors.
There are two inmates so far, complete opposites. Marin is anxious and eager to please, crumbling the second you apply pressure. Akira is sharp-tongued and defiant, acting like she resents every moment. Each follows her own path, with her own weaknesses and her own way of eventually yielding.
