ABOUT THE GAME
A stand-alone rhythm minigame, ChariFish is a spin-off of the visual novel ChariKiss.
Tap to the beat while casting your line! On the screen, circles appear and get smaller as they get closer to their destination. For a Perfect or Good, click at the appropriate time; if you miss too many, the fish will escape. Faster circles, sequence-locked notes, and slider parts that require you to hold and drag to the objective increase the challenge as you accumulate catches.
Select your song, a fishing partner, and your level of difficulty. Normal and Hard modes are ideal for novices, while Endless mode allows you to fish until you run out of life and pursue a high score. With a 7-star rating system to keep track of your greatest runs, Mania mode sends you through a whole song and scores every note. For an additional challenge, an Extreme toggle completely alters the beatmap.
All modes allow you to play six different songs, each with a beatmap and high score monitoring. Catch a Great White Shark in Endless mode to unlock the fishing gallery; each buddy will receive one entry, for a total of nine.
