Daybreak Nightbreak
Daybreak Nightbreak is a visual novel dating simulator created entirely by me, Mr. Scribbly, in the spirit of a sandbox. The narrative tracks a young man as he learns about a parallel dimension and the meaning behind the activities of a cult that is becoming more and more extreme. The young guy doesn’t realize that he has been given the power to gather followers of his own, and that this could be the key to preventing the collapse of both worlds.
ABOUT THE GAME
The game’s narrative design places a strong emphasis on making important decisions, making decisions that have an impact, managing finances and businesses, solving complex puzzles, forming relationships, fighting, and more. The introduction and first chapter are finished in their current form, and work on the second chapter is already underway. With at least ten main quests, the current version’s estimated playtime is well over 15 hours.
Daybreak Nightbreak attempts to offer a multitude of diverse activities along with a diversified cast of individuals to become attached to, with a sexualized twist. The language and design structure of the game are directly inspired by games such as Yakuza and Mass Effect. Three acts will make up the game’s structure. Set-Up, Decision Making, Payoff. The introduction and first chapter have served to set up the second chapter, and the available decisions will be directly affected by the community’s input.
