Before you know it, we have mineshafts where bats scrape out iron and coal like the world’s prettiest unpaid labor force, crop fields full of elves laboring as if their tiny lives depended on it, apiaries humming with bee-women producing honey, and barns full of cow ladies pumping forth milk.
What’s the best part? Upgrades are always possible. I mean forever, forever, not “a lot.” Your entire enterprise grows larger, faster, and more absurd as you continue to pump your gold back into the ranch and level up each building. Increased profit, efficiency, and storage. In essence, you’re feeding your addiction to seeing the numbers rise, and really? I wholeheartedly endorse that.
Then there’s the Blacksmith, where you have four options for permanently upgrading your tools. Honey, crops, milk, and mining. Choose your obsession. Make the most of your favorite area of the farm. Do you want your mines to function like a machine? Completed. Do you want your cowwives to produce enough milk from their tits to end world hunger? completed as well.
Indeed, the Tavern is just what it sounds like. When you enter, a group of ravenous women give you orders for bundles of your products, and they pay you in gold. Easy. Effective. A little suspicious. For a charge, skip an order if you don’t like it and go on with your life. Boundaries are crucial.
It seems that this family is now the foundation of the entire economy, so once you have some gold pouring in, you may hire people through Rhea, my cousin. Bats get to work in the mines, elves keep the fields planted, bee-women manage the apiaries, and cow ladies wander into barns on their own. The whole thing never stops. Baby, it’s automation. Automation that is profitable and beautiful.
However, avoid becoming overly comfortable because your employees do have mood swings. Yes, I am aware. The more you push, the more important each decision becomes. First, what do you upgrade? Next, what do you automate? What is the bottleneck in your system? You’re doing strategy now, congratulations. in a comfortable agricultural game. I adore that for you.
Demi farming, then, is this really fulfilling cycle in which you develop, build, enhance, automate, and grow until your small ranch becomes a fully fledged agricultural empire.
