But in Kredon, everyone’s talking about ETERNUM, the virtual, hyper-realistic massively multiplayer online role-playing game that changed the technological landscape a few years ago.

The five senses can be replicated via a cerebral implant, making it hard to tell the difference between the actual world and the game.

The Eternum network is made up of thousands of servers; from vibrant, magical fantasy realms to hazy sci-fi metropolises, no planet is unreachable.

However, beneath the surface is a darker side to this charming façade: illicit assembly, data theft, trading in illegal content, black markets, torture, and rape. Eternum does not adhere to human norms.

Governments ignore this for whatever reason; neither regulation nor control exist. Some attribute it to the game’s extreme addictiveness, others to the daily millions of dollars that are traded in the market, yet others to bribery of powerful individuals, and still others to other factors.
