ABOUT THE GAME

Free Rein is a short, focused interactive story about a couple exploring a consensual step together: she spends an evening with someone else, with his full knowledge and agreement. Together, they set the boundaries. The story then follows what unfolds—the conversations beforehand, the night itself, and, most importantly, what is shared afterward and what remains unspoken.

There are two ways to experience it.

Solo Play: You stay in the husband’s role while the game guides her side of the story through its own choices and outcomes. Enable explicit mode for a fully erotic narrative, or keep it restrained to focus on tension, anticipation, and emotion. Even if you’re simply curious about the hotwife fantasy, it works as a compelling story in its own right.

Play Together: Each partner controls one side of the relationship, making private decisions that may complement or conflict with one another as the evening unfolds. If you’ve ever wondered what the experience feels like from the other person’s perspective, this mode is designed to let you step into that role.

WHY WE MADE IT

The project began as a personal curiosity I struggled to discuss openly with my own partner. So I created the experience I wished had existed: something immersive enough to feel emotionally real, and perhaps one day serve as a way to start a conversation—or even explore the idea together.

WHAT WE’RE TRYING TO CREATE

We wanted to know whether a game built around the hotwife fantasy could be more than erotic content—whether it could be a genuinely engaging exploration of trust, jealousy, vulnerability, and the things couples often find hardest to say aloud.

Something you might play together on the couch. A game where the relationship itself is the mystery, and the two of you are the black box at its center.

AN EARLY VERSION

This release includes a prologue and three chapters. We’re sharing it to learn what works and what doesn’t, and we’d especially love feedback from people with real-world experience in this lifestyle. What felt authentic? What felt off? What would you like to see explored further?

LOOKING AHEAD

The current plan is a twelve-chapter season. We’re also developing a dedicated two-player experience where each partner plays on their own device, making secret choices that intertwine into a shared story.
