Zeus transforms into an eagle and captures Ganymede, a shepherd caring for his sheep, to serve as his cup-bearer on Mount Olympus.
To put the narrative in perspective, Lucian’s conversation was meant to be humorous. After I made changes to the original text, Ganymede is now said to be eighteen years old. There isn’t any graphic sexual material.
