ABOUT THE GAME
Rich fantasy backstory, branching gameplay, and harem aspects are all features of this hand-drawn adult role-playing game. Years after the Great War, you take on the role of Prince Reiner, a disobedient prince who flees Horingar’s halls in search of his father’s whereabouts, only to find a web of sinister secrets connected to a long-forgotten Ancient Evil.
The game’s semi-open world is chock-full of secret objectives, side missions, and extensive mythology presented through collectible books. The main goal in each chapter is semi-linear and offers three different paths: combat, stealth, and puzzle-solving. This allows for a variety of gameplay experiences. In addition to influencing the gameplay in real time, the path you choose deepens your relationship with one of several special, completely romantic partners.
With a cast of hand-drawn romantic interests, each with a unique personality, narrative, and fully animated adult scenes, you can develop relationships. The core of the game is a complex relationship system; the choices you make affect who and how close you become to Reiner.
Each buddy has a three-branch talent tree that allows players to revisit and develop strategically. Particularly for those following the fighting route, occupations like fishing, mining, cooking, and crafting offer essential resources; but, after Chapter 2, they are no longer required for other playstyles.
Horingar Darkside transports you to a dark fantasy world where your decisions create connections, reveal long-forgotten facts, and decide the fate of a fallen kingdom. It has a blend of mystery, drama, romance, and humor.
