OVERVIEW

In the horror game The Curious Case of the Missing Nurses, you play as Layla Walsh, a young nurse who is going to work her longest shift to yet. She is dragged inside a horrifyingly altered version of the former hospital where she used to work and discovers that death is now a scarce resource. Will she survive the night, or will she join the ranks of the other nurses who vanish in the enigmatic hamlet of Brookvale?

Help Layla locate as many dead ends as she can as she struggles to make her way out of the relentless Undertow. The decisions you make will influence the course of several scenes and the resolution of her story. Will she and her closest friend Ada Hong manage to flee, or will she end up as the terrifying Doctor Ebert’s plaything?

Layla’s dialogue will change depending on how you interact in certain scenes.

Boss fights varying from grotesque monsters to fellow damsels.

Different scenes depending on successfully defeating/losing to bosses or failing certain puzzles. Not only do these decisions have instant ramifications but Layla will also be seen differently by her peers after she leaves The Undertow.
