The locket starts to transform her as soon as she puts it on, robbing the ladies around her and giving it to Mabel. It’s subtle at first and easy to overlook. But when the changes pick up speed and her coworkers begin to take notice, Mabel is faced with a difficult decision: either embrace what the locket offers and pay the price, or give up the power that is at last making her feel recognized.
Every victory has a price in this mystery graphic novel about breast development. Among her late grandmother’s possessions, Mabel discovers a silver locket. Strange things start happening when she wears it: her coworkers start getting smaller and her body starts to shift. Mabel is transformed into something she never would have imagined by the locket, which feeds on touch and drains the women around her. However, Lisa has been taking notes. Jessica is making the connections. And the party at work is about to turn into a confrontation.
