ABOUT THE GAME

I created a little desktop program called Tribe Desktop to help me concentrate and maintain some organization in my life. I hope it also benefits you. It sits silently on your desktop, out of the way, and combines a fun little game with some helpful productivity features to keep you occupied while you work.

COMPLETE TASKS

The primary component consists of a collection of basic focus tools:

• Customizable timers for concentrated work sessions
• To-do lists to keep you on course
• A daily journal to record your day’s events and review them later
• Inbuilt music with a variety of styles to choose from
• You can combine ambient and ASMR sounds in any way you like.

The purpose of that section is to genuinely assist you in real life.

DEVELOP A LITTLE TRIBE

A little idle game plays in the background while you work. You begin with a small tribe and a few basic stats, and as those stats increase, you gradually unlock new abilities. You choose one ability to focus on at a time, and to keep things interesting, sporadic events occur.

It never requests your attention because it is an idle game. No pressure, no clicking. You simply tell them where to focus and periodically check up with them.

GAME FEATURES

A straightforward “lights-out” mode for times when you simply want peace. Clicking the animation or pressing “esc” will start it right away.

I took care not to overuse the resources on your device. The frame rate, for instance, is limited to 15 frames per second.
