The earth has been destroyed by ferocious creatures who despise life, leaving it a desolate desert that stretches for miles.

In the centuries since the end of the ancient world, the scientifically advanced society of Muse has managed to keep itself relatively safe, and Kent’s task is to slay these creatures and defend the city.

He attempts to take on more than he can do one day while on patrol. A stranger saves his life as he is dying alone by taking him to a remote home where he may recuperate.

Watch Kent and Daren, his savior, connect and get to know one another over the day. As Kent reflects on how he got into this predicament and other recollections from his past, spend the night in his memories.
