Mind the School

Mind the School is an event-based management game. I was inspired to build my own game after Ashford Academy Redux was discontinued and there was no other game of its kind.

OVERVIEW

You are the new headmaster of a once-prestigious school in this game. It is your responsibility to restore the school to its previous splendor because the previous headmaster left it in poor condition. However, tell me how you became the new headmaster. You are well-known for the personal conditioning theory that you developed. By building the most intimate community possible, you hope to alter both the globe and its inhabitants. Make love, not war goes the mantra. You’re not just some perverted slime, of course. Naturally, the biology of humans is the foundation of your idea. You would have to lie, though, if you weren’t thrilled with the shift.

HOW TO PLAY (Keyboard)

Use Enter to advance dialogue and activate the interface.
Press Space to advance the dialogue without selecting choices
Hit the Arrow keys to navigate the interface.
Press Escape to access the game menu.
Use CTRL to skip the dialogue while held down.
Select Tab to toggle dialogue skipping.
Press the Page up to roll back to the earlier dialogue.
Press the Down page to later dialogue
Press H to hide the user interface.
Use S to take a screenshot.
Use V to toggle assistive self-voicing.
Press Shift+A to open the accessibility menu.

HOW TO PLAY (Mouse)

Left click– Advances dialogue and activates the interface.
Middle click– Hides the user interface.
Right-click– Accesses the game menu.
Mouse Wheel up click rollback side– Rolls back to earlier dialogue.
Mouse Wheel down– Rolls Forward to later dialogue.
