Rooted in myth and lingering remembrance, you assume the role of Iraṇṭil Mutalāvatu—an immortal once dreaded across entire continents, now resigned to a life of quiet exile.
Since the dawn of existence, you have walked within it, committing unspeakable acts and forging your legend through bloodshed and terror. But the hunger that once defined you has faded. Desire has grown dull. Weariness has settled deep into your being.
Long ago, you shared eternity with an equal. Together, you raised two children and guided The Hidden—progeny believed to be fated to inherit and amplify your myth. Yet time unraveled everything. It tore you apart slowly, relentlessly, until even your own name felt unfamiliar. Your family became distant.
Your progeny, strangers. In the end, you abandoned them all—leaving them to decay beneath the weight of your legacy, or to grow within the void your absence carved into their lives. What you left behind were memories alone. Memories of a monster.
Now, your name survives only as a hushed caution, and it is the shadows that carry the true burden of your endless existence.
Each fractured bond reflects who you were. Every decision declares who you are becoming. The question remains: are you still the monster they remember—the one the world has all but forgotten—or have you become something else entirely?
Gameplay and Themes:
The First Beings focuses on moral inquiry, player choice, and intricate familial relationships. You have to negotiate the broken ties of your immortal ancestry as Iraṇṭil Mutalāvatu. You must decide whether to continue being Iraṇṭil Mutalāvatu, the destroyer who created their fear, or try something different because you are feared by your children, your equals, and your creations. Are you destined to repeat the cycle that made you legendary, or can an ancient terror actually reinvent itself?
