ABOUT THE GAME

It’s difficult to determine whether Kabir’s life is falling apart because of the cannabis, his tumultuous relationship, or his inability to find employment. He is on the verge of ruining his life because he is stuck in a fog of marijuana and self-doubt. When what he believed to be a hallucination becomes violently real, he gets into a fight with his bandmates.

Because of its use of foul language, recreational drug usage, and unsettling imagery, GET UP, GET OUT is geared toward young adults who are at least 18 years old. It embodies the anxieties and challenges of young adults over their futures, with a surrealistic element that makes such anxieties tangible.

This is a DEMO game created for the 2025 RIT ID Capstone showcase. Due to software limitations, the rhythm game is non-functional, and the battle segment is rough and linear. I am not a programmer or game dev, so I apologize for the lack of functionality in these segments, and I appreciate you taking the time to play my game.
