ABOUT THE GAME
The open beta version of my game, GutBuster. There isn’t an HTML5 version of this game yet, but it is currently limited to Windows only. Godot 4.2 is being used to create this game. A more recent version (alpha v0.1) is already playable and may be downloaded in advance for $3 on my Patreon page. It will be made accessible to the general public for free one month from now. By the end of the month, I want to have a beta demo finished and ready, and later this fall, the full game.
You take on the role of a cell within the avaricious raccoon girl Rebbecca in this game. You use your acid blaster to break apart food and collect lipids, then spend them at the shop to upgrade your abilities and survive the increasing difficulty as you progress. This is a challenging, yet casual game where you can continue as many times as you want. Help Rebbecca to overcome any eating challenge, and don’t give her indigestion!
HOW TO PLAY
– Move with the arrow keys and dodge-roll with Shift. The blaster fires upward automatically.
– Use the menus with the mouse.
– Cheat mode is unlockable through the options menu at the title screen. Use the keys as described there for level-skipping, invincibilty, automatic powerups, etc.
