ABOUT THE GAME

The world that humanity once knew has vanished. The novel, which is set in a not too distant future, follows a young man as he completes his senior year of high school. Years have passed after the conclusion of “the great last war,” which nearly led to the extinction of the human race. But instead of being fought between humans, that war was waged against an odd and unidentified species of animals called “Demoniens,” so named because of their demonic appearance, complete lack of human emotion or intelligence, and intense lust drive. Peace returned and the globe could at last concentrate on rebuilding civilization as it had been before the human race triumphed. Everyone, even our protagonist, appeared optimistic about the future that is, until the night his life completely collapses due to the murder of his parents, forcing him to move in with his best friend.
