Sable anticipates grease stains, malfunctioning equipment, and a constant flow of lonely regulars when she inherits her grandmother’s former diner. Finding oneself at the center of something unfamiliar something that has no place in the kitchen or anyplace else in the real world is what she doesn’t anticipate.

Welcome to The Dented Kettle, a narrative-based visual novel that combines slow-burning romance, eerie mystery, and comfortable diner life. You take on the role of Sable, a modest but resolute woman with a rusted grill, a set of keys, and the desire to continue her grandmother’s heritage. Both Sable and the location have had better times. They might be able to make it work together.

You’ll manage your time, renovate the cafe, and decide how Sable develops her relationships with new friends, inquisitive strangers, or a specific someone who often shows up after dark between the early morning coffee rushes and the late-night repairs.

However, you’ll begin to notice problems as the days pass and the lights begin to flicker a bit too frequently. items that have no place there. Things that, in the absence of others, murmur. The diner’s history isn’t ready to be forgotten.
