Welcome to North Brook
OVERVIEW
In the adult visual novel Welcome to North Brooke, the protagonist must adjust to a new town, make new friends, and seek out unusual adventures. To make the most of his new surroundings, our protagonist will need to navigate through challenging scenarios and make wise judgments. In addition to moving to a new area, our protagonist will start a new job and university right away, where he will need to learn how to balance his social life and his obligations. We’ll have to wait and watch if he gives in to the strain or thrives in his newfound fame.
HOW TO PLAY (Keyboard)
Use Enter to advance dialogue and activate the interface.
Press Space to advance the dialogue without selecting choices
Hit the Arrow keys to navigate the interface.
Press Escape to access the game menu.
Use CTRL to skip the dialogue while held down.
Select Tab to toggle dialogue skipping.
Press the Page up to roll back to the earlier dialogue.
Press the Down page to later dialogue
Press H to hide the user interface.
Use S to take a screenshot.
Use V to toggle assistive self-voicing.
Press Shift+A to open the accessibility menu.
HOW TO PLAY (Gamepad)
Right Trigger/ Bottom Button– Advances dialogue and activates the interface.
Y/ Top Button– Hides the user interface.
Start/Guide– Accesses the game menu.
Left Trigger/ Left Shoulder– Rolls back to earlier dialogue.
Right Shoulder– Rolls Forward to later dialogue.
