You’ll play the role of Emma as you guide her in shaping her fate. As you go along the way, you will encounter different characters who could either help you or vice versa. Every decision you make along the way could impact how the story would go. Will you succeed? Or will you surrender to the rising darkness within yourself?

Dungeons

Accursed: Emma’s Path will have a variety of dungeons to explore throughout the game. Most of the player’s battles will take place in these areas. The player will be sought after by roving enemies. Certain battle scenarios can be avoided depending on the decisions made by the player.

Corruption

You will be presented with a variety of choices during the game. Emma will get a “Corruption Level” once she has accrued sufficient Corruption Experience. Emma will behave more obscenely and corruptly the higher her corruption level. Certain events will only be accessible at a certain Corruption Level. Reducing corruption and gaining “purity” will also be feasible, albeit both outcomes will be uncommon.

STORY STRUCTURE

We place a lot of importance on Emma’s development and the plot of the game. The game is divided into three main acts, a prologue and an epilogue, to depict her narrative appropriately. The structure and options available to Emma will vary for each section. The majority of optional content will be restricted to a single Act.

Prologue

A succinct, chronological overview of the universe and some key individuals. The entire game’s events are initiated by what happens here.

ONE

An overview of the tiny village where the majority of the game will be played. Here, several important game concepts and mechanics will also be introduced. Decide on a schedule for Emma’s daily and weekly odd jobs around town. At the forge, assist the blacksmith. Serve some lucky patrons at the bar?

TWO

During this act, the game will open up considerably. There will be a ton of side missions, things to do, and free events accessible. Follow the main mission whenever it suits you. But exercise caution! Which of the two potential Act IIIs is presented to the player will depend on Emma’s collective decisions after this act!

THREE

Depending on their previous key choices, the player will either receive the corrupted or pure version of this act

Endings

Moreover, depending on the overall decisions made, each variation of Act III will result in two different endings. Additionally, each ending will have different “flavors” based on your actions during the game.
