Rain and the Wolf

Ten was Rain Bremen’s best buddy when he was younger, and the two of them were always together. But all that changed when Ten was ambushed by a bandit in the middle of the forest. Ten, who is in excruciating pain and gradually losing blood, begs Rain to go back to their village and find assistance.

Rain tries her hardest to comply with Ten’s request, but it’s too late when he gets back to his friend’s side. Ten is no longer there.

Even after more than ten years, Rain never stops thinking about Ten. Rain is still curious about his childhood buddy and possible outcomes for him. Then, not too long after Rain turned twenty-three, his father asks him to go into the woods and harvest herbs. Rain obliges, but as soon as he veers off the path, it starts to rain. Rain gets caught up in an unexpected downpour, slips, smashes his head, and loses consciousness.

When Rain wakes up, he discovers that he is in a tiny home that Zero, a strange young guy, owns. Although Zero says he discovered Rain unconscious in the forest and saved him, there’s something off about Zero.

Why does he resemble Ten so much, and why are his teeth so sharp?
