The Millennial Heroes™, in: “Leapin’ Luchas Part

OVERVIEW

The exciting luchalicious end to this episode! Will Jasmine’s ass and Marias’ father’s after-school breakdancing program be spared from Vlad’s evil grasp by the boys? Find out by playing!

Presents from Andy and Rob!Through the eyes of two stoner friends who enjoy getting high and going on sick adventures with their friends, Millennial Heroes Web Comic is a fantastic triannual (every three months) interactive “Decide-Your-Own-Quest”-style webcomic that is brimming with a loving, satirical take on the pop culture nostalgia of the 1980s and 1990s that we grew up with. We’re your men if you enjoy pop culture from 30 to 40 years ago, pot humor (think Tenacious D, Harold & Kumar, Cheech & Chong), and how old things still FUCK together even when you’re old.  Check out what comes inside of every episode:

A great, vintage atmosphere from the 1980s and early 1990s! Despite being set in the present era (hence the term “millennial”), the atmosphere is all sunglasses at night! A very pulpy, “two-fisted” comicbook style that pays a loving tri-homage (trimage?) to our favorite comic book writer, Mark Schultz (Cadillacs and Dinosaurs), Comedy Central’s “Ugly Americans” masterpieces, and Cartoon Network’s iconic “Aqua Teen Hunger Force”… We include people like Harry Crumb (Fritz the Cat, Mr. Natural), Ralph Bakshi (Heavy), and others who are thematically melded to the more adult vibes of both the underground comi(x) scene (with a “x”) from the 1960s and 1970s as well as the alternative/independent comic(s) scene (with a “s”) of the 1980s and 1990s that emerged from it. Metal, Wizards, basically he’s the adult illustration GOAT), Gilbert Shelton (Fabulous Freak Bros, another Goddamn legend). Other inspirations include Leisure Suit Larry, Sam And Max, Southpark,  It’s Always Sunny, and Johnny Bravo (fairly obviously)… as well as less obvious fair like TV’s The Goldbergs! It’s a beautiful mess, but it works… you’ll see what we mean!
