OVERVIEW

Chosen by the Goddess of Fertility, Mother, to act as a bodyguard for her priestess and avatar, you must explore the vast, cruel world of Psema, besieged by all manners of earthly and alien horrors. Fight, lie, and form alliances with evils of all kinds.

A massive open world to explore. From bright cities and eye-candy wonders to deep crypts and mist-infected forests.

– Your sanity, karma, and other stats influence the world around you. So do your choices. Previously dangerous areas can grant you free passage, and vice-versa.

– Psema is under constant peril of invasion and conquest by dark lords and ladies… And you can probably compromise with most of them. Combat is rarely the sole way to deal with Psema’s terrors.
– Four different classes to choose from. Each class has a unique combat style, romances, and interactions with the world.
– Open-ended quests.

Even more gameplay choices to make.

– Visit Memory Lane and take as many foibles as you want: Modifications of your character with both positive and negative sides to each of them.
– Use the Temple, your respective skill tree to unlock purely beneficial bonuses, using Waves as currency. You get 1 Wave per level and that’s it.
– EXP is rewarded only for killing unique enemies and completing non-repeating quests.
– Game strictly built around minimizing grinding.
– Sanity is a stat that can only go one way, and that’s down. Fight to preserve it, or “weird” things will start happening to the world.
– Apart from sanity, balance your karma, estrogen, testosterone, and reputation with Psema’s kingdoms, dialogue check stats (rhetorics, deception, perception, lore, academics, haggling & intellect).

Highly demanding turn-based combat following sandbox logic. Battles are difficult challenges, and it is up to you to find builds and strategies to survive them.

– Hero abilities are separated into Skills and Magias:

Skills can each be used only once per battle. The game follows revolver logic with them.
Magias have no usage limit, but they cost MP. MP in BR RPG is replenished ONLY upon resting in an inn or leveling up. You leave the safety of Psema’s villages with a strict limit on how many images you can cast.

– Utilize crafting to make the most out of your limited resources and survive.

Eroge, visual novel elements as the third founding block of the game, after RPG and horror-adventure.
